DCPNI is realizing our cradle to college & career continuum through robust collaboration with local and national service providers, technical assistance partners, and community groups in the Kenilworth-Parkside neighborhood. Because collaboration is critical to our success, we pride ourselves in working with the most effective and committed partners to ensure that each child will have the opportunity to grow up in a safe, caring, healthy community, and experience the most profound of all our promises: the opportunity to give back. Our partners support the entire cradle to career continuum and serve both children and their parents, from early learning programs for young children to workforce development and technical training courses for adult parents.
Who are DCPNI’s Current Partners?
DCPNI currently has partners that span our entire continuum, from early learning programs for young children to workforce development and technical training courses for adult parents. We have over 40 active partners that fall into one of the four categories:
- Continuum Provider Partners – These partners serve our children, parents and residents and meet criteria set by DCPNI, are approved by DCPNI board, agrees to monitor and track outcomes, participate in DCPNI evaluation procedures.
- Friends of the Footprint – These partners serve as ‘friends of’ DCPNI and provide additional services, programs or outlets within the DCPNI footprint, but are not operating under an agreement with DCPNI, nor are their outcomes tracked by DCPNI. These organizations may be recruited at a later date to sign an agreement with DCPNI based on capacity, priorities and funding.
- District of Columbia Government Agencies and Offices — These agencies may or may not have an MOU with DCPNI but have an ongoing collaborative approach to drive change, share data, develop policies and/or deliver programs that support the mission and goals of DCPNI.
- Technical Assistance Partners – These partners assist with building DCPNI’s organizational capacity.
